When you feel like all hope is lost and you'll never find the right present for that person in your life (mum, best mate, girlfriend's sister's cat), don't panic. There is hope for you yet.

The Australian team at Triumph & Disaster have pulled together their favourite stops across Australia, for when you just need to find the right gift.

1. Pepe's Paperie

WinterGarden Brisbane City: Shop G14, 171-209 Queen Street, Brisbane City QLD 4000

Canberra Centre, Canberra: Level 1, Shop DF23, Canberra ACT 2601

Pepe's Paperie is the kind of place you can get all your Christmas shopping done in one hit. It boasts a solid range of designer gifts, leather wallets and bags, stationery, watches, cards, pens, invitations, umbrellas, candles, journals, socks and jewellery, with something quite literally for everyone. Pepe's prides itself on the quality, luxury and stylish nature of its products sourced from Australia and around the world. In store you'll find Triumph & Disaster alongside the likes of S'Well, Bellroy, Cluse, Status Anxiety, Solid State, Happy Socks, Orbit Key and more. Told you they're good.

2. Opus

354 Oxford Street, Paddington NSW 2021

Opus has been kicking since 1968 when Hey Jude was top of the charts, and for good reason. Originally a home decor store, Opus is all about celebrating design and style, quirkiness and fun, while keeping affordability and accessibility in mind. It now specialises in gifts and homewares alongside furniture and decor, with the Paddington store a leading emporium for gift buying. It's impossible to leave empty-handed. We've tried.

3. Tienda

53 Victoria Avenue, Albert Park VIC 3206

Husband and wife duo Paul and Sophie Bohan have taken a relaxed, Spanish attitude to dressing and transported it to Albert Park. The word 'tienda' is Spanish for 'store' so the name is fitting. Styles are versatile with plenty of staples to peruse, and a strong range of footwear, jewellery, lingerie and accessories. There's no online store, but the Instagram should be enough for you to check out what's in store.

4. TETHER The Store

Regent Arcade, 32, Adelaide SA 5000

"A hunt for the life of decadence" is their motto and at TETHER, you can do just that. In store you'll find curated a fine selection of men's grooming products, accessories, gifts and homewares to help with the hunt, be it for you or someone you care about. Three years ago founder Andrius Tomas opened TETHER The Store with the ambition to create a comfortable and inviting space to help "the average joes" dapper up. Now he welcomes customers top shop with assurance, purchasing from an extensive collection of quality yet affordable products, local fine leather goods, masculine gifts and handcrafted homewares. Services such as custom groomsmen packs, proposal planning and personalised birthday gift sets are just some of the goodies TETHER The Store has added in store over the past year.
