Word on the street

Our ears have been burning for quite some time now, as word has spread about Triumph & Disaster.

Let’s just take a moment to see who’s been talking about us.

As for Australia, here’s what the people have been talking about this year.

The discerning men’s bible GQ rightly stated: “T&D is undoubtedly one of the better-executed ranges going 'round.” It also tipped our Ponsonby Pomade as the best on the market, as did the team at Hey Gents.

Russh hailed our Karekare Tonic as giving hair a renewed sense of vitality, in a product feature that gave us the space we deserve.

Josef Murray (Jackalope) hailed Triumph & Disaster as his “secret grooming weapon” in an article by the Financial Review, while and Tom Simpson (Astra Lodge) said in the elements of ice and snow, he could count on Triumph & Disaster.

“Triumph & Disaster is the only skincare product I can rely on up here. It doesn't matter if I'm skiing down the mountain, riding on my snowmobile or walking the dogs in an early morning blizzard – my skin always feels smooth. I particularly love the Gameface Moisturiser and the Coltrane Clay,” he said.

The Sporteluxe team aptly noted Triumph & Disaster was ‘flying off the shelves’ back in May, while Fashion Journal gave us time to shine in their August issue.

As for Man of Many, the boys included us twice in their list of 11 best men's skincare products. Of Gameface they said “you’re easily looking at one of the best men’s skincare products on the market” and of Rock & Roll Suicide, “one of the best men’s skincare products for exfoliating.”

They also took some time with our founder Dion Nash, then adopted us for a list of their top Australian male grooming brands.

…despite the fact we hail from New Zealand.
